What I hate about daylight savings is that it means there isn't 24 hours in every day - one day has 23, and one day has 25. And this totally screws up any software that deals with scheduling and time! The cost of programming for this "convenience" is astronomical. It is truly stupid.

and HATE this time of year, when we "fall back".

I love the extra daylight at night. My favorite day of the year is "DST day". I know we lose the hour but I'm so much happier when I come home from work and it's still light out. It's too depressing to have darkness at 5PM.

I love daylight savings time as well. I don't mind losing an hour of sleep on a cold, rainy day in April -- I gain it back on a fresh, breezy autumn evening. But most of all, I love it when it's still light outside when I get home from work.

I'm not a big fan of DST, but I'll say one thing: I appreciate the extra hour of darkness in the morning... maybe satan (my cat) will leave me alone for an extra hour, now. Maybe.

Are you kidding me? I love daylight savings time! An extra hour in the evenings is exactly what I need. Farmers be damned, but I would like to see daylight savings go year-round.
